Elite Cheer Action’s mission is to introduce the sport of competitive cheerleading at an instructional level while developing a squad of excellence and award winning caliber, to develop and enhance the character of squad members physically, mentally, spiritually, and socially while cultivating the talent and desires of its members. Elite Cheer Action will instill self-discipline, attentiveness, and endurance required not only for this sport, but for everyday life. We will encourage respect for self, parents, coaches and the Elite Cheer Action’s cheerleading program.

Founded in 2001 by Program Director, Chanel Day, ECA is a family structured competitive cheerleading program. It all began with 3 coaches, 19 enthusiastic, energetic girls and 1 strong, talented boy. The first season ECA worked hard to create a family environment and a new way of thinking about All-Star Cheerleading for the families in the D.C. Metropolitan Area. ECA competed in several local, regional and National level competitions bringing home many trophies and banners for their 1st year accomplishments. By the end of the 2001-2002 season ECA was well on its way to becoming a premier cheerleading program.
Elite Cheer Action prides itself on not only developing the best teams but striving to always value each cheerleader and parent’s dedication and commitment as it helps to foster our family oriented environment. We strive to assist cheerleaders in meeting and exceeding their personal and athletic potential. The ECA staff is committed to building a well respected, premier organization and passionate about cultivating the mind of each member. We mentor and consult with cheerleaders and parents, not only on physical ability, but on establishing work ethics, owning up to ones actions and maintaining a level of respect and trust for those around you. ECA staff prides itself in teaching “Actions Speak Louder than Words”. We believe that your character will speak for itself. We teach life skills and are committed to upholding strong moral values. We believe through team building, motivation and self esteem we can instill love for self, unity and values.
Through Team retreats, guest speakers, and activities that are focused on building and enhancing the minds of athletes, Elite Cheer Action fosters an environment that is centered around hard work and work ethics to develop individuals who can function and succeed in our society. We strive to meet the needs of each cheerleader as an individual and as a team. Our goal is to offer each cheerleader the experience of a lifetime, while helping them exceed their personal and athletic potential, and to prepare them to walk away from the organization with a greater understanding of teamwork, leadership, respect, hard work, and success. We hope not only to develop the best squads possible, but also instill the best qualities for future benefits.
